Audio latency problem

Audio latency problem

Dear JB and friends,

When installing latest MLT and Kdenlive from SVN,
the sound has a long latency, that I would expect about 1 second.

If I reinstall MLT compiled from SVN, latency is near zero.

Is there a way to run latest Kdenlive and MLT with low audio latency?

I now notice that the sound is played a little bit too fast and becomes desynchronised quickly.
Strange !

How can I debug this problem?

I may experience same problem.
Can you check this please?

Have you tried rendering is it affected too or just playback?

Playback AND rendering.
Same problem, the audio is played back at nearly twice speed.
Whenver I revert to an old version of MLT, the problem disappears.
