Audio Scrub ? Status possible version ?

I was wondering if anyone has any idea if / when audio scrub will be implemented ?
Or if there are any workarounds for now ?

Yes, me too, something that would be very welcomed. I think jack transport is being implemented and that may be an alternative, ie: scrubbing via a jack transport enabled app like Ardour or simpler audio player.
