Can't add clips

Hello

If i open Kdenlive and start a project, i want to add clips so if i like to do that and the clip shows up in the project tree kdenlive quit inmmediatly
What can i do to don't get this problem

What error message? (start Kdenlive from a shell)
Which linux distro?
Which Kdenlive version?
Which MLT version?
What kind of clip?
