I would like to ask if it is possible in Kdenlive turn the scene from normal colors gradually to greyscale. In other words, at the beginning of the clip, it would be as it comes and at the end of the clip, it would be completely black and white. Many thanks.

Yes just need to use a saturation effect or the SOP effect and slide the saturation to zero.
SOP is keyframeable for sure so effect can be adjusted in strength over length of clip.
The simple "saturation" effect (in the "colour" group) can be keyframed too.
(click on the "clock" symbol)
