How do I compile the frei0r plugins from the source?

I have installed kdenlive successful, thanks all.
But i find the light graffiti effect is not included, i tried to search the tree, but I don't know how to utilize that.
Now i get stuck in getting/compiling the light graffiti plugin,
any hints for me to get this right?
i am in mac os x.

i found a compiled lightgrafatti.so and dropped it into the macports/.../frei0rs-plugins.., but it didn't work.
the repository seems a bit outdated, when would it included the new plugins? :)
