How to use speed effect in 0.8 ?

Hi!

I have been using kdenlive since 2 years now, without too many problems. But recently, I've updated it to 0.8 and can't understand how to use the 'speed' effect... I have clips @60fps and I want to reduce the speed by half. But the current dialog is not easy to understand, at least for me:

Maybe I'm missing something ? When adding frames in the timeline of the effect, I have new boxes on top of the video with yellow corners I can move... I can also change opacity. But I can't figure out how to change the speed...

I'm having this issue too.

Using version 0.8 on Ubuntu 11.10, I get inappropriate parameters relating to speed.

The machine was using the sunab ppa when running 11.04, but has since upgraded and points at the Ubuntu repo's. I tried the complete removal/re-installation technique, but to no avail.

Anyone have any sensible suggestions? I have 3 video-editing teenagers glaring at me . . .

Cheers,

Neil.
