Ubuntu decided to do an update and their were some updates to kdenlive in the mix this morning and since then I have not been able to render any video at all it just comes back as error is their a fix or will their be an update sent ASAP to fix the render problem? if not what can I do to fix the problem I do have a few vids I desperately need to render within the next day or so....

Putting up a large snapshot of Kdenlive does not help much, apart from telling us that MLT crashed. There are many versions of Ubuntu and kdenlive being used and without you answering yellow's questions nobody will be able to help you. If you need any help with that, just ask.
what ever the latest greatest version is or not so great apparently....
