Hi.
Just a quick note to tell you that the problems with muting of a track seems to be solved with latest revisons of MLT and Kdenlive. You can now easily mute a track by clicking on the small speaker icon.

Let me know if any of you still find problems, but my quick tests seem to indicate that this issue is now fixed.
