[SOLVED] No Audio

HP dv4 1125nr - Intel - Kubuntu 11.10 - Kdenlive 0.8.3

After upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10 I lost audio in Kdenlive, even in sound samples from Online Resources (other apps are ok). I noticed that the upgrade removed PulseAudio, but don't know whether this is a problem or not.

Thanks in advance for any help.

PS: Is it possible to replace Rekonq as the default browser in Kdenlive?

Changing the audio driver from PulseAudio to ALSA at the Configurations window solved the problem.
