[Solved]Copying part of a clip

I separated the audio portion of the video clip. Now, I want to copy a portion of that audio into a new audio track.How it is done? Thanks.

1. ungroup the split audio and video (right click menu)
2. cut the audio clip so that the bit you want to copy is cut either side (right click menu to cut)
3. Copy and paste the section of audio to where you want it (right click menu again for copy and paste)
