[SOLVED]Timeline monitor separate window

I installed kdenlive on a 64bit desktop with ubuntu 8.04 from the normal repositories.
Kdenlive starts but has the timeline/clip/capture monitor in a separate window. I cannot have the main window and the timeline monitor open on the same screen with the cursor outside the timeline monitor. In the 8.04 32 bit version of the same desktop i have timeline monitor window docked inside the main window. There it is OK.

Is there something I did not found or is this a bug ?
