Text overlay and transition

Hi,

That's my problem: I have two video clips and I want to add text overlay on each of this clip. Now I also want to make a transition between the two video clips. This is the problem. The transition is only done between the video clips, not the overlays or between an overlay and a video clip, ... Is there a way to achieve the correct behavior ? i.e. adding text on clips and doing transitions ?

Is there a way to add text overlay without using a transition ? Since we cannot put several transitions on the same clip, if we use a composite transition for text overlay, it is not anymore possible to add further "real" transition on the clip.

You have 2 video clips, each with its own text overlay. Add a transition between them, then adjust the transition to go with the appropriate track using the "with track" Auto drop down menu button on the Transition Tab. It works for me.
