i'm bad with a computer
i know that the problem is solved but i don't know how to write a message (but here i can, i know it's not a new topic)
i've got ubuntu 12.04 and kdenlive 0.9.4 Noyau Linux 3.2.0-38-generic GNOME 3.4.2
i don't konw how to put ppa's...

i can't work because of "unexpected characters", i write that with new project on new version

can you write a process from begin to end, for ultra-beginners

if you write in french, i take it more

In a terminal
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sunab/kdenlive-svn && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install kdenlive melt frei0r-plugins

This installs kdenlive, melt and frei0r development versions with all the latest fixes and potential new defects.

i had the same problem , look for my post , it explains how to fix your corrupted project file. also as ttguy says, use the ppa to install a newer version
