0001245: Why are there default zones?

Description

Hi,

I just wonder why there is a default zone in every clip and the timeline and why it has an default length...

Can you please explain me the reason or a use case?

If there would be no special reason for that, I just want to propose to disable this behaviour in general, or to make it possible to remove IN and OUT points, to let the user create zones only if needed.

So, when inserting a source clip, or just a zone of a source clip, it will be inserted at, or maybe after like I'll describe below *, the position of the timeline cursor.

One way to create a rough cut could be done if the timeline cursor would jump automatically to the end of an inserted clip/zone, after the insert/override action (v) was finished, but this should happen only when there is no zone in the timeline. And since actually the timeline cursor jumps to the last frame of a clip in the timeline, it seems needed to insert after this position.
