Summary0001415: remove effects for multiple clips
Descriptionthis is a feature request for removing effects on selected clips.

adding clips works great with multiple selection, but not on removing.

is really annoing to remove one by one when adding is just one click.
Steps To Reproducehold shift

select several clips

add an effect

try to remove effect
Additional Informationanother way to achive that would be with grouped clips.

if an effect could be added to a group removing could be a lot easier.

 implemented in svn rev. 4287. It now works that way:

if you select several clips and delete an effect, there will be 2 possibilities:

1) if the "master" clip (the one whose effects are displayed in the effect stack dialog) belongs to a group, the effect will be removed from that clip only

2) if the master clip is not part of a group, the effect will be removed from all selected clips

A better solution would probably to show a dialog when several clips are selected to ask if user wants to remove effect from all selected clips, but we are now in string freeze for translation of the 0.7.7 release, so I cannot add new text in Kdenlive.

So for now, I think that deleting effect from all selected clips when the last clicked clip is not in a group should be an acceptable way to introduce the feature without having users accidentally remove effects from their project.

 i agree that this solution is partial, but it should be ok for most users.

a dialog for multiple selections is a great idea. not only for removing but for all kind of actions. right now is confusing what happens when you have several clips selected.

im going to compile last svn and take a look.
