| Summary | 0001502: Clip/Project monitor doesn't rewind | ||||||||||||
| Description | Both in clip and project monitor: if I stop the clip/project, press "rewind 1 frame" or "rewind", the clip/project DOES NOT go back by 1 frame or totally, rather goes forward by 1 frame or several seconds. On pressing "play" once again, the clip/project starts from the last frame seen. It's like clip/project can only move on forward direction rather than in the required back | ||||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Add a file (any type) 2) Start Play in Clip monitor 3) Press Stop (let's say after 2 seconds) 4) Press "rewind" 5) Press "rewind 1 frame" (case A) or "rewind" (case B) 6) Press Play again You'll notice that clip/project will start from frame 3) + 1 frame (case A) or frame 3 + 2 seconds (case B). It's like "rewind 1 frame" or "rewind" acts like "forward 1 frame" or "forward" | ||||||||||||

"1) Add a file (any type)" What type of clips do you use? Is seeking working in ffplay? (drag to the left) |

XVID 720x480 30fps, audio is MP2 8000Bps/64kbps 32KHz Seeking backward/forward, under ffplay, works perfectly |

Hm, I don't have any XVID footage to test. Could you please upload a clip? |

Works flawless for me. Does melt give you any error when seeking? (press h to go 1 frame back) Btw. what version of mlt do you use? |
