Summary0001601: KdenLive crashes when loading RAW AVI
DescriptionTesting KdenLive I had copied some raw video from my video editing system to edit with Kden.

As soon as I click one of the RAW (PAL-B) files Kdenlive shuts down, giving error:

Executable: kdenlive PID: 1819 Signal: 11 (Segmentation fault)

Steps To Reproduce1. Start Kdenlive.
2. "Add clip" and select a raw AVI file.
Additional InformationI run Ubuntu on a Compaq Presario R3000 laptop which has a nForce chipset.

 The crash happens in MLT. Can you try the following:

1) play the RAW clip with FFMpeg:
ffplay myclip.avi

2) play the RAW clip with MLT:
melt myclip.avi

Let us now the result, and also check that you have recent versions of MLT/FFMpeg

 I have the same issue, ffplay works, melt segfaults. MLT version is 0.5.4 (Ubuntu 10.04)

I'll attach a small file (rendered in Blender 2.5) that crashes MLT.

 I can reproduce the crash:
melt crash.avi

The problem is in MLT / FFmpeg (tested with latest MLT / FFmpeg). Backtrace below:
