| Summary | 0001640: Datecode of the DV is not stored during caprture and editing |
| Description | When capturing a DV video from the tape the datecode of the DV stream is not store in the file. Further to that when rendering a dv which includes the date code the date code is removed during rendering. The date code of the dv file is valuable meta data that should be maintained during any action taken |
| Steps To Reproduce | Capture a dv format video with Kdenlive and check for the date code using Kino. Second capture a dv video with dvgrab or Kino, render in Kdenlive and check for the date code in Kino. Its gone. |
