| Summary | 0001700: Not possible to drag n drop a clip within project tree with large number of clips | ||||||||||||
| Description | I would like to use the project tree to organize the 300 clips of my current project, which means at first: arrange them in folders. Unfortunately this is almost not possible since you are not able to drag n drop a clip from the lower end of the list to the upper end, where the folders are located, when you have a lot of clips loaded in the list: The scrollbar will simply not scroll if you are dragging a clip. :( Additionally the keyboard shortcuts ctrl-x and ctrl-v do not seem to work in the project tree (which would even be a smarter way to do the task) | ||||||||||||

Dragging items should now scroll the list in project tree (svn rev 4606). Will see if I find time to implement shortcuts... |

Thank you, j-b-m! These are good news. Shortcuts would be great help. Thanks for considering them. |

For organizing large projects, it would also be very useful to have sub-folders within folders (justifying the term "project tree" as a side-effect ;-) Shall I open a separate report for that? Regards -- trcrass |
