|Summary||0001823: Crash when adding Color Effect to track|
|Description||*I've already tried to solve it like said on issue 0001822, but it didn't work*|
If I add an effect that I am intending to apply to a clip inside a track, then kdenlive crashes. This happens when the clip is on track 0 or 1.
If I drag the clip to another track, for instance track 3, and add the effect, the program doesn't crash immediately. However, when I try to preview by putting the cursor on it, then kdenlive crashes.
The effect used was RGB-Parade.
|Steps To Reproduce||- Add Clip to timeline|
- Add Color Effect to it
- Try to preview the project

I would recommand that you upgrade your Kdenlive version to 0.7.8.
Also, if I remember correctly, the RGB parade effect (which is part of the frei0r package) was buggy and known to cause crashes that were fixed in the frei0r 1.2 release.
Instructions to upgrade to latest kdenlive, mlt and frei0r versions on ubuntu is here:
