I do not have a Amplification effect. Is this maybe a translated version? |

Yes, French Version ... I talk about the Audio Effect which can increase or decrease volume (with dB selector). Sorry if my english is awful :) |

hmm, could this be a bad translation of the Mute effect? Due to something strange in our software, the Mute effect, which is designed to make silence, exposes a slider. Can you move it? If so, then it is not Mute and more than likely Gain (English), but I can not reproduce a problem with that. Is this a problem only in some specific project you are working on, or can you reproduce it in a simple way with only one clip on the timeline and applying that effect? |

Oh, wait, I believe this was fixed since the 0.7.8 release. I will look for that bug ticket. |

Here is the bug I am thinking of http://www.kdenlive.org/mantis/view.php?id=1493 [^] This should be fixed if you running a real, official 0.7.8 release (not a pre-release). |

Btw. the slider was removed from the mute effect last weekend ;) : http://kdenlive.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/kdenlive/trunk/kdenlive/effects/mute.xml?r1=5085&r2=5084&pathrev=5085 [^] |

My 0.7.8 version is the one released in Ubuntu 10.10. So, I don't know if is it the good version. I will install 0.7.8 and check it. Thanks. |
