Description

When started with out a project file, kdenlive crashes without any GUI appearing. gdb dump follows.

When kdenlive is started with a project file, the GUI appears, but then application crashes.

start kdenlive - crash

start kdenlive with project file - GUI, but then crash

Additional Information

have also tried removing all kdenlive files from home directory, but still produces a crash.
