|0002083||Kdenlive||Transitions||public||2011-04-03 15:15||2011-04-11 23:15|
|Platform||AMD64||OS||Ubuntu Linux||OS Version||10.10|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0002083: Impossible to composite clips independantly|
|Description||Here is something that I cannot do (or at least figure out) with the composite transition. We have two clips (the first is a text with alpha channel, the second is a normal clip and has an end time which is before the end of the first clip). I would like to fade in and out the second (bottommost) clip while keeping the top clip at full opacity. I don't seem to be able to do that. Openshot can do that, why not Kdenlive.|
|Tags||No tags attached.|
|Build/Install Method||3rd party package|
This is possible with Kdenlive, too.
Add composite transitions to all clips involved and set transition target to "black" (background track).
Auto-compositing is planned, but don't expect it for too soon.
|I already tried that. What happens is that during the fading out of the second clip the first one fades out also, and suddenly goes full opacity the frame after the second clip is finished playing.|
