|Platform||32 bit intel and alike||OS||Debian Linux||OS Version||4.0|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0002131: ALSA and SDL problems|
|Description||Running Kdenlive 0.8.1 from a terminal in Debian Squeeze, I can see lots of messages. One of them happens whenever I'm watching a clip in the monitor and try to rewind it. The message says "ALSA lib pcm.c:7223: (snd_pcm_recover) underrun occured". After this, rewind seems to hang the application, and the clips monitor becomes extremely slow and unresponsive. All the cores of the i7 2720QM show high activity.|
I have MLT, Melt, libmlt all in their 0.7.2 version. I am trying to edit MTS videos, using AVI proxy files. By the way, it is very, very often having a statusbar message telling me that SDL cannot open audio because it is in use.
I hope this helps. If the assigned developer needs more information, I'd be glad to provide.
|Steps To Reproduce||Click on the "rewind" button under the clips monitor, and voila.|
