With:

$ kdenlive --version
Qt: 4.7.3
KDE Development Platform: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5)
Kdenlive: 0.8.1 (rev. 5594)

when I add clips from a certain camera, kdenlive crashes.

Steps To Reproduce

Download http://urchin.earth.li/~ian/video_problem/00001.MTS [^] (8 MB).
Start kdenlive.
Add clip to project.

(0007444) Alex7465 (reporter) 2011-10-16 15:08	Crashes for some Canon LEGRIA HF M41 clips added to the project, but works with other clips from the same cam. Clip: http://www.mediafire.com/?c4taxc9l4v9eb29 [^] (also included in "supported camcorders" list) Crash can also be reproduced by simply playing the above clip with melt (MLT melt 0.7.5), which results in a segmentation fault. Playback with ffplay works. Built today (2011-10-16) with build script on Debian 6.0.3 squeeze.
