| Summary | 0002248: Pan & Zoom crashes Kdenlive when zooming out. | ||||||||||||
| Description | When using Ctrl & mousewheel to zoom out, clip or pic reduce to about thumbnail size when Kdenlive freezes, turns grey and a processor core climbs to 100%. Interface will close but Kdenlive is still running a core @ 100%. Cannot stop or kill process and must reboot. | ||||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Load .MTS clip or .jpeg pic Add pan & zoom Use Ctrl & mousewheel to zoom out within 3 sec. Kdenlive locks etc. | ||||||||||||

I remember having this issue in the past too, without being able to fix it. But since I am unable to reproduce now, I guess it was a Qt issue fixed in a recent release. You should be able to kill kdenlive with 'killall -9 kdenlive' |

I have just tried it again and I'm getting the same results. I would say though that adjusting the frame using the corner 'handles' works absolutely fine. A few days ago while testing it out with Ctrl & Wheel it actually worked twice, right down to no frame and then back up to full size. After that it started crashing again. I'll stick to doing it properly. |
