Summary0002339: Crashes every time I start
DescriptionEvery time I start kdenlive it crashes after I press "Finish" for the "Checking system" dialog.
Steps To ReproduceStart and select and profile.
Additional InformationAs per the instructions on the web I did "yum downgrade mlt". Until I did that I could not even get to this point in the dialog.

 In case it is useful, this is what I see as console output:

 Can you check if you have a previous Kdenlive config file (called kdenliverc in $HOME/.kde/share/config) ?

If there is one, try deleting it and restart Kdenlive

 Removing the kdenlive config file was one of the first things I tried. I also tried creating a dummy config as suggested in one of the forums. If the config file does not exist, or it exists with the correct version number in it, then kdenlive produces the error above. Anything else and it aborts instantly.

 Does MLT work correctly? Try the following in a terminal:


melt color:red

Should bring a red video clip...

 There doesn't seem to be a "melt" command. There is something called "mlt-melt" which brings up a red video clip...
