| Summary | 0002356: Wrong rendering of selection when timeline contains Kdenlive project and clips | ||||||||||||
| Description | I have 2 projects A and B. I inserted project A in project B's timeline and try to render a selection. The selection starts with project A "clip" in the timeline and some others videos clips. In both projects, most audio is splitted from video and a soundtrack is added (only in project B), most transitions are fade effect. The only effect applied (glow) is on the first clip in project A. There's also a slideshow clip in project A. The rendered video of the selection in project B is quite strange : the first part of the video corresponding to project A "clip" is ok until the slideshow that is not rendered (black screen). Then the video doesn't continue with the timeline of project B (filled with video clips/transitions) but instead, restart with the poject A "clip". | ||||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | I get this behavior with my project, every time i tried to render it. I didn't try to test with a new project to find the issue. Perhaps the slideshow ... I'll try as soon as i have time but for now i have to restart a new project to finish my work. | ||||||||||||

It's a bit hard to understand the issue with your description only. Could you attach a screenshot of the timeline with annotations to explain the problem? Also it could be useful to attach your project file, and another important information: What happens if you play the project file with MLT's command line player: melt yourproject.kdenlive Does the bug also happen? Also, did you change the MLT thread setting? It is in Kdenlive's Settings dialog > Environment > Processing threads If you have more than 1, try re-rendering with 1 as thread value |

I'll add infos/screenshots as soon as possible (this week-end). But this morning, i manage to render the project after removing the slideshow clip from the timeline (Project A) and re-import the Project A in Project B. This is the only change made since the tests failed. |
