| Summary | 0002357: Project does not render video channel on webm | ||||||||
| Description | Proxy clips display while editing the video. After rendering the video, there is only an audio channel, no video. | ||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Load a lot of clips from Panasonic TM900 ( Full HD, 50FPS ) Do some light editing, and then hit render. Watch the resultant video. | ||||||||
| Additional Information | Just pulled kdenlive from svn on 20 Sep 2011. Updated mlt from git on the same day. This problem did not exist with Kdenlive pulled from svn two weeks ago. | ||||||||

I have tried rendering the same project with mp4... That has a video channel, but no sound. The source clips have 5.1 channels of sound. |

Ok, I did a bit more prodding on this. I suspect that mlt does not like ffmpeg 0.7.6. I don't see either libvpx or libmp3lame, which explains the missing video and audio in webm and mp4. I'll do some more testing to see if I can nail it down. currently I am using ffmpeg 0.7.5, and that works fine. |

I have found this problem. It has nothing to do with kdenlive, but rather the way that ffmpeg installs on my system. Please set as resolved. |
