Tried to find a similar issue. Found this http://www.kdenlive.org/mantis/view.php?id=2476 [^] but don't know if its the same.

(0007817) rbckman (reporter) 2012-01-24 09:47	I did some more tests and the same problem seem to occur when loading too many clips into a single project (500 clips). Yes, I'm doing some stress testing of Kdenlive. However the problem didn't seem to occur in the stable release 8.2.

(0007819) rbckman (reporter) 2012-01-24 10:20	Is there btw a tool that could check for this? if you have a corrupt video file. It would come very handy in bigger projects. Now I had to figure out by trial and error witch the corrupt file was... this should probably be posted in the forums... over and out..
