| Summary | 0002531: UI stops responding when dragging clip from project tree to track line |
| Description | Starting with 0.8.3 I come regularly to the situation where the UI stops responding. This happens if I drag a clip into the track line. I note it often when I move in that way that the project monitor must update its content to show the newly inserted clip.
The issue occurs if the project monitor is not updating its content to show the newly inserted clip. Further attempts to update the project monitor by moving the marker for the shown frame around are possible but without effect. Clicking into the project monitor leads to a completely hanging UI. |
| Steps To Reproduce | - load multiple clips into a project
- add one clip to track
- select project monitor
- select a frame from clip
- add a second clip so it is layered above
- if project monitor is not updating -> click into project monitor |
| Additional Information | This issue might be related to a slow location for the clips. It happens quite often for material which comes from a cheap network storage. |
