|Summary||0002536: Recovered project file after crash has missing information|
|Description||Until now, every time KDEnlive crashed, I just had to open the project again and everything was there.|
Today it happened twice that after reopening the project, part of it was missing.
I'm working on a project with one WAV, one MKV and three MP4 files, less than 16 minutes. After reopening, part of the audio track, about two minutes worth of audio clips, are no longer in the timeline. The parts that disappear are immediately following the time where the cursor was.
|Steps To Reproduce||The crashes are random, and not on every crash the timeline is altered. Most times the file is fine.|
|Tags||No tags attached.|
|Build/Install Method||3rd party package|
|Attached Files||102.kdenlive [^] (33,383 bytes) 2012-03-02 14:18|
The crashes are happening while pressing the space bar to start / stop, or while using my graphic tablet to drag the time forward / backward.
I have the impression this second kind of crash is caused by an accidental very fast double click or dragging on the time bar.
But I'm less concerned about the crash than about loosing work when reopening.
|A backtrace of the crash might help, see http://kdenlive.org/bug-reports [^] on how to create a backtrace.|
