0002566: Loading a project file corrupts everything

Description

Opening a project file with kdenlive corrupts the whole project:
  - Clips change their durations
  - Effects don't work properly any more (images suddenly black out)
  - Some clips cannot be edited any more

Steps To Reproduce

Create a new project and enable proxy clips (don't know if this is important).
Add some image clips and music.
Place the image clips and the music in the timeline and add a few transitions between the images (and if you like: effects).
Save the project and restart kdenlive.
Open the project.
Voilà...

Additional Information

In past days I have always been able to restore the clip lengths because clips got always shortened and I could still see the transitions.
In order to make an effect work properly again I had to move the start and end points of the clip in the timeline. Then it always worked again.

But for a few days now I have not always been able to do these corrections: Now some clips are unchangeable after I opened the project.

All these problems set in randomly: I can open the same project twice and have different clips corrupted in different ways. For that reason I guess the bug is in the project *loading* and not the project *saving* parts of the code.
