| Summary | 0002616: Add Slideshow Clip creates an unusable clip of length 8 min 20 sec | ||||||||
| Description | When I add a slideshow clip, the clip is always 8 min 20 sec in length regardless of how many JPGs I have in the slideshow directory. The clip will not play in either the clip window or project timeline. If I add the clip to the timeline, I cannot move my timeline pointer into the clip - it jumps to the beginning. If there is something else on a separate video track, parallel to the slideshow, then the pointer will move along that item. If that item is on a lower track it will show in the project window as if it were on a higher track. We can successfully add a single JPG file that is not a slideshow clip. | ||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Right-click project tree - Add Slideshow Clip. Choose a directory that has JPG files in it. Leave all other slideshow settings at defaults, frame duration is 00:00:05,00, and say OK to create slideshow. You will see in the project tree that the clip is 8 min 20 sec in length. You will not be able to play it in the clip window. Bring the clip down to the timeline. You will not be able to play it or move your timeline pointer along it. | ||||||||
| Additional Information | We used these same photos with PhotoFilmStrip to create the slideshow and then brought it into Kdenlive. This worked as expected. Melt is from current git. KDE is 4.8.3. | ||||||||
