|Product Version||Recent git|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version||0.9|
|Summary||0000264: timeline numbers overlap and are chopped off at the top|
|Description||Two issues with the time label numbers at the top of the timeline:|
1) their tops are chopped off
2) they are displayed too close together and/or with too big fonts, so they overlap. Even when they don't overlap, there should always be a decent amount of space in between one label and the next, since something like
00:00:00:00 00:00:30:00 00:01:00:00 00:01:30:00 00:02:00:00
etc. is very hard on the eyes.

Looks fine for me. The font size for the ruler is taken from KDE global settings (it is the Toolbar font size). Are you working on KDE or Gnome ? Did you change the default toolbar font size ?
Could you eventually post a screenshot ? thanks.
|Attached (I meant to attach before but Mantis doesn't seem to let you simultaneously upload text and attachments). No I didn't change the font size.|
|Just one idea about legibility - maybe the hh:mm:ss:ff notation could be changed to something more readable, such as 0h27m34-f3 or 0:27:34-f3 or similar. Ideally the user could provide a printf string.|
|Please provide some more information about your environment: KDE3/4/Gnome whatever... (I should now by now, but I don't :-)|

2) has been fixed. There is always enough space between.
1) still existing, see attachment. Laptop with fluxbox and high dpi settings.
I think 1) could easily be fixed:
aspiers, are you still having this problem?
|In which version was 2) fixed? I am still seeing it with 0.7.7.1 on Fedora 11.|
Could you please attach a screenshot of how it looks atm? Perhaps with 0.8 if possible?
Could you try using lower DPI in your desktop manager and check whether it then works? And, how do the colour/audio scopes look like?
|Sorry - I'm travelling and won't have access to my Fedora machine for at least 2 months.|
|Problem 1 is now fixed in git|
