| Summary | 0002642: Rendering hang when using video effects |
| Description | It seems that the Dissolve transition causes melt to hang, I have a project that will not render past a certain point removing the transitions fixes it.
It actually locks up the entire system so I have to reboot, making it hard to find any logged errors.
I'm currently using v0.9.2 from the svn ppa, the problem also happens with the stable v0.9.1.
I am using the version form this ppa https://launchpad.net/~sunab/+archive/kdenlive-svn [^] it reports the version there as 0.9.3 however it is give an 0.9.2 in the help menu. |
| Steps To Reproduce | Create a project with two video clips each on a separate track
Overlap the clips slightly
Added a transition between them |
| Additional Information | I also had it happen with the fade to black effect so it could be somethign to do with fading ?
If I render in avi format and play the video after rebooting it has rendered right up to the frame where the effect should start. |
