0002692: Poor search performance in preview window

Description

Proxy clips loaded into the clip preview window used to be really, really fast.
Now, there are some second delays in updating the image displayed when dragging the slider.

Steps To Reproduce

Load clip into clip preview window
Drag slider
Wait <- This should not happen.

(0008224) evorster (reporter) 2012-08-25 07:17	Ah, it seems to be related to OpenGL. I am not sure if it's related to my video card, or in kdenlive itself, but when I switched kdenlive to not using OpenGL, it started working fine. ie: no slowdowns when dragging the cursor in the preview window.

(0008254) j-b-m (administrator) 2012-09-02 18:04	Yes, the current openGL display in Kdenlive is really poorly designed and completely inefficient. This will change when the refactoring branch is merged.
