| Summary | 0002693: Menu on Title Clip Window missing 2 labels | ||||||||
| Description | On the window where title clips are edited there is a menu selected from a button labeled >>. On this menu are two items with short cuts Alt+R and Alt+I but no other text on them. I know that the Alt+I one adds images to the title. The Alt+R makes toolbar with Fill Colour, Border Colour and Width appear. I don't know what the control the colours and width of because I can't see what they change. But anyway. I think these menu items should have more text than just the short cut key description on them. The alt+I one should say Add Image or something. And the Alt+R should say ??? - something describing what it does. | ||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Display the title clip editor and click the menu button labeled >> | ||||||||

Doh. I have now figured out something. The ">>" button is an indicator that there are more objects on the toolbar that can not fit with the window at the size it is at. My title editor comes up by default with a window not wide enough to display the whole toolbar for the Title editor. And when I expand the width of the title editor all the toolbar options appear and indeed the Alt+R one had a tool tip of Add Rectangle. So the defect is that the Add Image and Add rectangle toolbar items do not get a text description when these items move off the toolbar onto the "dropdown menu item". The other items Open Document and Save As do get text descriptions. And maybe the title editor should come up by default wide enough to see the whole toolbar. |

">>" usually means your window is too narrow to display all toolbar icons. Alt-R adds a rectangle. But of course we need to check where the strings are missing |
