| Summary | 0002726: splitted clip corrupted in timeline after cut, move and cut | ||||||||
| Description | The representation of a splitted clip gets corrupted in timeline after cutting the clip with 1-2 key, moving the second clip (move tool) and cutting (1-2) the 2nd clip (see screenshot) | ||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Import several clips to timeline (split audio enabled) with having space at the beginning 2) Cut the first clip with 1-2 keys 3) Switch to "move tool". Move the other clips to left 4) Switch to "select tool". 5) Cut with 1-2 keys => the moved clip gets crazy. | ||||||||

I just fixed group resizing through the 1-2 shortcut keys in Kdenlive's git repo. Can you please test if it fixes your problem? |

Not complete. I have now another behaviour but the main problem is still there. Ok to reproduce the problem it is important to switch to the "move tool" then move from right to left and switch to "select tool" and cut the moved clip with 1-2. By the way: now the 1-2 cut is done in one step for audio and video. This is wanted? |

Can you please test, I think I fixed the problem. About the 1-2 shortcut cutting both audio and video, in my tests it seemed to be rather random before, sometimes cutting video only, sometimes audio without any visual clue about which one was about to be cut, so it seemed better to me to work on all selected clips. |

I agree it is more straightforward. I did extensive testings yesterday and can confirm the fix. No timeline corruptions anymore. |
