Description

Under "Crop and transform" effects I've got:
* Crop
* Crop, Scale and Position
* LetterBoxed
* Pan and Zoom
* Rotate (Keyframeable)
* Rotate and Shear

I've got a 3:4 video that I'd like to crop to 16:9, composite a 16:9 frame around it, and "picture in picture" into a 16:9 video. Previously, the crop and/or pan and zoom effects made this easy.

Now I've got several crop effects (and pan/zoom) that either do nothing (as in, I can't change any values) or seem incapable of filling the width of a 16:9 frame and then removing a little from the top and/or bottom.

Steps To Reproduce

Video 1: 3:4 aspect ratio video
Composite 1->2, size 98%
Video 2: a 16:9 still or colour to serve as a border
Composite 2->3, size 40%
Video 3: a 16:9 aspect ratio video

It should be (and until recently it was) easy to get video-1 to be a "picture in picture" on top of video-3, with video-2 being a border around video-1. It should (and until recently it was) also easy to get video-1 trimmed to a 16:9 aspect ratio and "filling in" the width of the frame.

Currently, this seems impossible.
