0002775: Tweaking timeline clips start and end points fine honing timing freezes kdenlive

Description

With a few clips on the time line, mjpeg proxies and a couple of music tracks, tweaking start and end points to a clip repeatedly, maybe 4 or 5 tweaks to get timing with music causes interface to freeze and have to kill process, resulting in project recovery process on reopen.

Also project is corrupt even after recovery and reopening because playing through the timeline the interface freezes at the start of the clip where tweaking was done that caused first freeze.

So have to kill process again and recover. Sometimes recovery won't work, sometime I get a second tab appear on the timeline showing a backup, closing that backup tab using the icon far right with red cross then causes kdenlive to crash outright.

Steps To Reproduce

Tweak a start point to a clip using proxies repeatedly ie: pull start point forward a few frames, release, push start point on a few frames, repeat a few times, then freezes.

Only seems to have started in the last few days.

(0008453) yellow (reporter) 2012-10-10 22:57	Forgot to mention, when the timeline / ui is frozen clicking left hand mouse button along the timeline to try to move the playhead shows a dark grey vertical line between the timeline frame numbers where the playhead triangle lives, but as soon as I click anywhere else on the interface windows the UI is then totally unresponsive.

(0008463) j-b-m (administrator) 2012-10-14 23:29	I cannot reproduce. Did you have any color / audio scopes open? I just fixed a crash / freeze in the scopes that might be related. Let me know if the issue is still here when the next update to sunab's repository is available.

(0008489) yellow (reporter) 2012-10-16 23:20	hi j-b-m, yes both video and audio scopes open. Since a day or two now and a couple of updates via sunabs repo I've had no freezing, so looks good but I did also change proxy build command line for the current project. I'll test again with a new project and original proxy setup to see, let you know. Thanks for all the time you put in on kdenlive.
