Summary0002850: Dynamic text displayed on screen moves relative to beginning of track, not beginning of clip in timeline
DescriptionEasily demonstrated when project window is in "edit mode".
Steps To ReproduceEasily demonstrated when project window is in "edit mode".

If the clip begins anywhere other than the very beginning of the track, the movement of text will be delayed by a time equivalent to the clip's offset from the track's beginning.

Additional InformationCorrectDynTextPos.png: Shows correct alignment of text with its bounding box. Clip begins at the very beginning of the track.

IncorrectDynTextPos.png: Shows offset induced by moving clip away from the beginning of the track.

 Thanks for your report. I have reproduced the problem. I believe it is a problem with the underlying MLT framework. I'm looking into it.

 This is now fixed in MLT:

I'm not sure when the next release is, but MLT releases usually coincide with KDENLIVE releases. So it will probably work with the next KDENLIVE release.

This issue can be resolved.
