| Summary | 0002857: No pass trough of the input 5.1 channel sound to the rendered output file | ||||||||||||
| Description | I'm using a Sony camcorder HDR-SR11E which provides 5.1 channel sound. The clip already shows only sound in the first two channels. So it seems, that already the import of the clips reduces the available channels from 6 to 2. After I have created an output file it seems, that all channels do contain sound information. But this is obviously only the mixed up sound from the two front channels (stereo). The problem is, that not all channels are imported. The support of all six channels may be an unsupported feature? But without the full support of all sound channels Kdenlive isn't a tool I can use to produce my videos. | ||||||||||||
| Additional Information | Currently I'm using PowerDirector under Windows 7 (64 Bit)but I'm looking for a chance to migrate to Linux. Without a sufficient video tool this wont be possible for me. | ||||||||||||
