| Summary | 0002864: Slowing down high framerate footage. | ||||||||||||
| Description | I have some footage that was acquired at 240fps. When I put it in the timeline and apply speed effect with 10%, I should be able to get 24fps output video. However, this is not what actually happens. | ||||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Make new project with 24fps. Load footage with 240fps. Apply motion effect. Set motion effect to 10% Render clip. Expecting to see a different frame, but instead seeing one frame copied 10 times, and then the next frame that would have displayed at a normal speed displayed ten times. | ||||||||||||
| Additional Information | I was able to get the desired effect by using an ffmpeg command to adjust the timecodes of the original footage. I have uploaded the clip to Dan's ftp server. | ||||||||||||

This issue has been addressed, and kdenlive now uses the extra frames in high framerate footage automatically. |
