Hi there.
It took me a while to understand shutterangle, and what it is supposed to do.
I first thought it was the actual angle of view. Turns out it adjusts the angle of roll to compensate for.
The other thing that tripped me up, was the value. It's in rads, which are equal to 57degrees each. So, a value of 1 would be fine. You could also just drag the slider over to about a third. More info on rads: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radian [^]

In my workflow, I had to apply Pan/Zoom effect to get rid of the arifacts on the sides of my clips.

Hope this info is of some use to you?

Do I understand the software correct: The stabilised data is in a clip that only works in kdenlive, so how can I export the stabilised clip, as a mts for example?

Hi there.

My workflow for stabilizing clips is as follows:
Start new project.
Load raw footage into kdenlive
Right-click on clip, click on properties, and untick proxy clip.
Then, click on clip to load into preview.
Select the range that I want to stabilize.
Right-click on clip in preview window
Select export range. Click ok.
Once the smaller clip shows up in the list of clips, disable proxy for that clip, too.
Now, right click on clip, and then clip jobs, and lastly vstab.
Once vstab has finished, and the stabilized clip shows up on the list of clips,
drag it to the timeline
Click render, and set output quality to your liking.
Hit the render button, and once it's completed, you can use the output file anywhere.
