Acknowledged on: ffmpeg: Revision: 15905 Last Changed Date: 2008-11-21 19:29:49 -0500 (Fri, 21 Nov 2008) mlt: Revision: 1240 Last Changed Date: 2008-11-17 00:57:32 -0500 (Mon, 17 Nov 2008) mlt++: Revision: 1240 Last Changed Date: 2008-11-06 00:32:23 -0500 (Thu, 06 Nov 2008) kdenlive: Revision: 2718 Last Changed Date: 2008-11-19 18:13:27 -0500 (Wed, 19 Nov 2008) Returning speed to 100% reverses the problem. Increasing to 105% or slowing to 50% brings it back. |

This is a known side-effect as indicated by the dropping of the audio waveform. Right now, this feature is not a comprehensive time manipulation; many features have their limitations. Therefore, this issue can be considered a feature request. In that case, what do you expect to happen to the audio? Do you want to use some fancy audio dsp to adjust the duration without affecting the pitch? http://www.surina.net/soundtouch/ [^] |

Yes, a realtime dsp for adjusting duration would be good. Perhaps let choose a) if effect should be a fast realtime, or should be applied (modifiying the data) b) the algorithm (speed/quality) c) perhaps different for preview/rendering (rendering always good) I made another feature request about setting markers for realtime duration-correction inside of tracks, I think same realtime-algorithms could be used. |

Jeesh, don't forget motion-estimated interpolation on the video as well! Someone please change this to a feature request, but do not target any specific near term release. |

Changed to long-term feature request. |
