| Description | I understand that the same functionality can be achieved by looking at a waveform but I think using more of your hearing sense would improve usability. You could be looking at the picture instead of trying to find the right spot on the timeline. Also, this can be used for fast searching through those long talking-head shots especially if pitch is not changed when playing fast forward. This ofcourse as a long term goal, I understand there are more important things to do right now ;) . | ||||||||||||

Would like to add my support for this request. Doing video/audio sync work, like animation or music videos, will be considerable easier if we can have audio scrub. |

this should definitely become a priority :) it is very hard to sync sometimes especially since the waveforms arent that helpful. (at least here they arent as well defined as they would appear in audacity) |

This would be a very nice feature. I noticed it was missing almost straight away and I am new to video editing. |

This feature will be added in the next big release of Kdenlive, when we swich the video preview from SDL to OpenGL, hopefully in the beginning of next year. |
