|Summary||0000522: 'insert space' enhancement|
|Description||Not an important issue, but is it intended to use 'insert space' only in empty space of timeline?|
Might be comfortable to use it on a timeline segment as well...
There could be 2 additional options then when user open the context menu upon a segment:
'insert space before' segment
'insert space after' segment

I think what you are looking for is available through the timeline menu. It will insert space before the clip start of the clip that the yellow marker is over.
Please try and see if this is not what you are looing for.
aahh, I see.
I just didn't noticed that, in this case, insert space is available via timeline menu only.
So, wouldn't it be a good thing to have this in the context menu of a segment as well?!?
I think this is a good idea.
Which clips would have to be moved? Maybe the user should be able to choose between clips on
a) all tracks and
b) the current track only.
Then all clips starting at the same position or later than the right-clicked clip should be moved.
