| Summary | 0000537: show current frame when resizing clip | ||||||||||||
| Description | currently, when you resize a clip, the project monitor preview window displays a fix frame (the one where the "marker" (? : play/stop marker I mean) is). you can only see in the clip itself the last frame, which is not useful at all....especially for small clip where first and last frame overview in clip overlap. It would be nice if when you resize a clip, the monitor preview window displays the current "resized" frame, so it is easy to adjust your resizing. | ||||||||||||

How about using the yellow marker to find the exact place where you want the clip to begin/end, then hit I or O to cut to this point? |

good trick :-)...but for track0 only. if I have a clip on track1 overlapping with a clip on track0 this method doesn't work...whereas with the feature requested, the active resized clip is displayed in the preview (whether it is on track0 or any else track). regards Olivier |

OK, acknowledging as a feature request. However, I think it needs to be implemented in such a way that it does not move the yellow marker - otherwise the use case where a clip is resized by dragging to the yellow marker will no longer work. Perhaps it should be optional. |

I totally agree that it should not move the yellow marker. |
