| Description | The motion-est module has some code to do scene change detection. It would be nice to have a checkbox to automatically cease the application of the filter when a scene change is detected. I think a code change in MLT is required as well. | ||||||||||||

More specifically, when motion_est determines that the current frame is not related to the previous frame, it flags the current frame as the beginning of a new scene. |

Right, but I do not want to require applications to have to monitor a property of for each frame. That is probably fine for something like autosplit or consumers to react upon. Rather, I will enhance the autotrack filter with a new property that, when set, tells the filter to be passive after the scene changes. |
